The Fluvial, Eolian &
Shallow-Marine Group invite members to an online sponsors’ meeting from 1300-1530
(UK time) on Thursday 25th January 2024. At the meeting, we will
present updates of our ongoing research activities relating to (i) our
sedimentary architectural databases (FAKTS, DASA, SMAKS), (ii) our fluvial and
aeolian stratigraphic modelling software, and (iii) our latest research
projects developing novel approaches for subsurface characterization. We will
also introduce forthcoming and recently commenced projects that will be ongoing
throughout Phase 6 of the JIP (Jan 2024-Dec 2026).
We will send out full details,
including a meeting joining link and a schedule early in the New Year.
