Alessandro Comunian and Chiara Zuffetti (State University of Milan) will run a
one-day workshop covering the principal geostatistical and modelling techniques
used to create representations of alluvial deposits (Riva del Garda, Italy, 5th
July 2023). The event is organized as part of the International Conference of
Fluvial Sedimentology 2023. The course will focus on practical applications of
geostatistical and other modelling techniques used to create geocellular models
of subsurface alluvial successions. The short-course handouts and practicals
will be made available soon to FRG-ERG-SMRG sponsors.
