at the University of Leeds.
Ru’s thesis is
entitled “Quantitative analysis of geological controls on incised-valley-fill
geometry and stratigraphic architecture”. Ru was funded by an award from the University
of Leeds-China Scholarship (CSC) Scheme; this was supplemented by funds from FRG-ERG
and SMRG; thanks to the group sponsors for their support. Additional funds were
