Welcome to
Marta Cosma who will be working with members of FRG-ERG during a visit to Leeds
from October to December 2018. Marta is based in the Department of Geology at
the University of Padova, Italy, where she works with Massimiliano Ghinassi.
Marta has expertise in the sedimentology of tidally influenced
point bars and their deposits. She was worked in detail on those in Venice
Lagoon. For her visit to Leeds Marta will be using the FRG PB-SAND forward
stratigraphic modelling software to predict trajectories of bar climb and
aggradation.
