Sonia Campos-Soto who will be working with members of FRG-ERG during a visit to
Leeds from January-February 2018. Sonia is based at Complutense University of
Madrid, Spain.
Sonia is
undertaking a research project to investigate the stratigraphy, sedimentology
and paleoenvironmental reconstruction of the late Jurassic-Lower Cretaceous
coastal depositional systems of the South Iberian Basin and the Penyagolosa
sub-basin, Valencia and southern Teruel provinces, Spain. Many of these
deposits contain abundant dinosaur ichnites and osteological fossil remains. This
is Sonia’s second spell working with FRG-ERG at Leeds.
