to Mohammed who has successfully defended his PhD thesis at his viva voce
examination at the University of Leeds. Mohammed’s thesis is entitled “Fluvial
and Aeolian interactions in modern and ancient dryland continental sedimentary
systems: implications for reservoir heterogeneity”. Mohammed was funded by
