·                     Deciphering the relative roles of allogenic versus autogenic controls on fluvial system architecture

·                     Application of quantitative analysis of fluvial sedimentary architecture to improved facies and reservoir modelling workflows

·                     Fluvio-lacustrine system response to rift- and intermontane-basin evolution: quantitative models of sedimentary architecture

·                     Modelling fluvial, aeolian and lacustrine response to differential rates of accommodation generation in developing rift and salt basins
